We are looking for a Data Analyst with programming knowledge and strong data-analytical skills to join our team focused on advanced automatic control and optimization of manufacturing lines and industrial processes to help us analyze process data. The Optimwise company was established in 2020 as a small business following previous several years’ experience of its founders in the field of advanced automatic control and optimization. Our main job is implementation of control and optimization algorithms and other process supporting computer systems in the manufacturing and industrial sphere. We are also active in industrial research and development, where we work together with customers to invent and test completely new and innovative approaches in their industrial plants. Thanks to previous successes achieved with customers all over the world, Optimwise is experiencing a high demand for projects implementation and is therefore looking for new team members.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret process data, create mathematical models above the data sets
- Design strategies that optimize production process based on data analysis
- Work with advanced methods of automatic control and optimization of industrial processes
- Work on a project from start to finish (from problem discussion with the customer, analysis of operational data, design of a new concept, its programming to testing in real operation, and evaluation of the achieved results)
Requirements
- Interest in automatic control and process optimization
- Education in control or measurement technology, electrical engineering, automation, robotics and cybernetics, artificial intelligence, computer science, mathematics, production systems, or process control
- Analytical thinking
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Python programming
- Knowledge of computer configuration under Windows OS
- Knowledge of automatic control theory and mathematical optimization methods
- Knowledge of PLC
